super -- great mood!! Worked hard on seat work rather than zoning

No groups today.
Due to scheduling problems in Ms. Robertson's room, Jack
will only have Reading on Tues. & Thurs. He didn't have groups every
day anyway. He'll have calendar w/us on Mon, Tues, & Fridays. Is
that OK w/you? He'll still have a book in a bag most days.

Teacher Comments: Jack was really upset upon arrival
on the bus this morning but we got him off the bus & he explained he hadn't
slept well (he laughed when Mrs. Smith said she didn't either, due to a snoring
husband -- of course, you'd probably be thrilled to hear a snoring hubbie [sad
face]!). Going to Reading appeared to be "iffy" but he perked up!

niknotes: Bus time was not a treat this
morning. I dressed both boys while they were still asleep to let them get
as much rest as they could because they would NOT fall asleep last night.
Stubborn little things. After Mick's bus came and went, I went back
upstairs to get Jack who had been awake enough to eat his vitamin and three
blueberry muffins and drink his juice, at least, and he was curled up under
the blanket with his shoes OFF! I got mad at him which made him cry
and state, "You do not sleep in bed with shoes on!!" So I put his
shoes back on him and carried him all the way to the bus, and he stumbled up the
stairs and down the aisle to his seat, with no greeting whatsoever for Mr.
Don. Mr. Don was very pleasant, as usual, though, and went back to secure
Jack's seatbelt. There did not appear to be any tantrum at that
point which I hoped was a good sign.
