Jack's Proposed Objectives    
 
Social Skills:
1.  Ask a peer to play independently
2.  Refrain from getting upset when he loses a game or doesn't come in 1st place
3.  Ask peers about a topic that interests them
     a.  Verbal prompts
     b.  Independently
4.  Request items that he needs from peers (crayons) independently
 
Adaptive Skills:
1.  Tie shoes
2.  Remain on task to complete an activity
     a.  1-3 minutes
     b.  3-5 minutes
3.  Listen attentively to ask and respond to questions
 
Community Skills:
1.  Wait for change after purchasing items
2.  Pay cashier independently to the nearest dollar
3.  Order food using please and thank you
4.  Attend to follow parking lot safety rules independently
 
*  I did not include academic goals because I feel that Jack should be able to follow the 2nd grade AKS. 
 
 
niknotes:  These are objectives for Jack's IEP (Individualized Education Plan) proposed by Mrs. Penoncello.  We have our IEP meeting scheduled for next Wednesday, April 30, where we will further discuss Jack's objectives and service needs (such as Speech) for next year.
