Teacher Comments: We will start sending home Jack's
AR media center books (since we know they'll be in good hands & not lost!
[smiley]) so he will have more time to read.
niknotes: Mr. Don told us that Jack cried all the
way home on the bus. Jack required lots and lots of comforting from both
Mama and Da (who was home early from work)! FINALLY, he told us that he
was upset over not having been the first in line to catch the bus. Before
that, though, it sounds like he had a great day. I hope the fact that he
ate very little lunch is due to how many blueberry muffins he ate for
breakfast (four and a half!, probably his total daily caloric needs) rather
than an indication of impending cough/cold/flu.
Jack's AR book is Twister, but he seems
disappointed that there is only one page with any tornado action. The rest
is anticipation of danger and then the clean-up.
(note re: new subject line) -- I wrote a more
comprehensive note at the end of the Mick report today. Briefly, the new
subject can be saved directly as .htm file, for my own convenience, for
posting on our new website: www.dullaghan.net. It's only partially
constructed, but please feel free to check it out. And there's a guestbook
on our Family Tree page if you'd like to sign in. Comments/suggestions
welcome!
