Teacher Comments:  First Grade Field Trip tomorrow!

niknotes:  I took lots of pictures with the digital camera at Special Olympics.  The camera (specifically, being able to see what silly face just got photographed) was such a big hit with the kids in Jack's class, that I doubt I will ever be invited back to any class activities.  It made the children laugh and play to see a cam so cool.  Oh, please forgive me, it just came out.  Seriously, I was quite disruptive.  But the kids were great.  And Jack had such a positive, sportsmanlike attitude and demeanor the ENTIRE time that I was completely thrilled.  He was very calm about my being there, too, allowing three or four of the other children to monopolize my attention (and the camera mostly!) but still having greeted me with a smile and a hug and talking to me about the basketball event.  And precious, precious Ryan showed me his loose tooth.  It was funny to me to see so much tooth-wiggling from the group of eight.  I think they each have at least one loose tooth!
Tomorrow, Jack will go with Mrs. Robertson's class to Fernbank to see an IMAX film about Lewis and Clark.  I have every confidence that he will have a wonderful time.
