Language Arts --  [smiley]  Verbs -- made verb book (drew pictures & wrote sentences); ending consonant sheet & vocabulary sheet over Jump or Jiggle
Math -- [smiley] Using addition & subtraction for story problems
Handwriting --  morning sentences
Social Skills --  Personal Space -- Talked about correct distance to stand when talking to someone.  Modeled different situations.
Unit -- Story & made spiders
Special  Art  -- Practiced making "pinch" pots w/playdough.  Then made real pinch pots w/clay in the shape of turkeys. 
Lunch --  Fun fish shapes, tater tots, juice, milk -- Didn't eat much. 
Outside -- [smiley]  Magic School Bus video/rain
Speech -- [smiley] Jack worked on main idea and drawing conclusions.  He did great!
Other --  Reading Group -- [smiley]  Seatwork -- rhyming worksheet; answering yes or not to questions referring to a picture.  Talked about The Dinosaur Chase and read it together w/ 2 students to Mrs. Robertson.  Homework sheet with story tonight.
Jack got upset when another student told him what to do.  The student was trying to be helpful, but I could understand why Jack got upset.  He calmed down quickly! [smiley]
 
niknotes:  Jack told me the spiders (in Unit) were made from thumbprints.  I'm still amazed when he offers any details about any part of his day.
Jack did a great job on his homework.  On one of the worksheets (yes/no questions) he decided to write "No Help" just as his teachers do when he completes worksheets independently.  He actually wrote, "No! Help!"
