worksheets on contractions (didn't get to finish all); reviewed Ripeka's
Carving w/Mrs. R. Read words and went over their meanings w/
Mrs.R. Story -- Miss Nelson is Missing. Read together in
small group - only got through part of it. Picture-walked rest - sent home
to read at home. Will take an AR test on it if there is one.

Teacher Comments:
niknotes: I was sick with a stomach virus today and so
didn't really type up the Jack report today but will have typed it up
tomorrow. (Ooh, it's like science fiction.) I actually went to the
post office, Kroger, and K-Mart before the severity of my symptoms forced me
home. Poor Mick got so scared when I couldn't stop vomiting. So
in between heaves, I tried to say something comforting. He wasn't
convinced.
