Teacher Comments: It occurred to me why Jack talked
about "mean" kids on Wed. We read a story at unit about children that are
bullies, show-offs, etc. We finished it yesterday & I realized it when
Jack said they were "mean" kids (which they WERE! [smiley])
niknotes: Jack's morning sentences for the week
include one about welcoming Ryan Smith to the class. I didn't really even
know about Thomas. Or I don't remember hearing about Thomas. I
wonder if there have been other changes in the class or if we are maxed out at 8
students. I'll ask Jack who his classmates are.
jacknotes: Let's see, um, I have Ryan B., and I have
Ryan S. I have Davin. I have Ian. I have Thomas.
I … Robert! Is that all? Oh, yeah, Aaron. I forgot about
Aaron.
[In response to my question about the name tag for
Ethan which was on the desk to the right of Jack's]:
There is a boy named Ethan, but I think he's in a
different class. Maybe you misunderstood that Ethan was in another
class.
