Teacher Comments: *  Jack had a big "melt-down" when he couldn't find a definition and didn't want to move the next word with the others.  The sub. said he screamed for about 15 min.  (Mrs. Smith & Mrs. Avitabile were with other students out of the room.)  He was alright for Specials and when he came back he finished his lang. arts.

niknotes:  The pencil drawing was nicely rendered, with the words "I DON'T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL ANYMORRE!"  Ms. Avitabile drew a sad face beside it and wrote, "Boo Hoo!  Ms. Avitabile & Ms. Smith won't come back if he doesn't!" with another sad face at the end.
When I asked Jack how he did on the spelling pretest, he said, "Don't ask me that."  The words this week were:  will, each, about, how, up, out, them, then, she, many.  I just showed him the list and his homework assignment (of writing each word three times) and asked him if he spelled all the words right on his test today, and he answered, "Mmm-hmmm, yes, ma'am."  He's in a much better mood now that he discovered his prize from Target:  the Gamecube game Sonic Adventure DX:  Director's Cut.  He read all the descriptions on the cover and then asked when he would get to play it.

jacknotes: I don't have any Jack notes so just [sigh] skip this part.
