niknotes:  There were some Bus Driver Comments today, though.  Mr. Hilliard has apparently been the enemy since separating Jack and Robert on the bus for getting rambunctious.  This afternoon, when Jack boarded the bus, Mr. Hilliard said "hello" to Jack and asked him how his day was, and his thanks was a punch to the groin.  Do bus drivers wear athletic cups?  I'm not trying to make light of Jack's transgression; I was completely appalled, naturally.  Jack saw Mr. Hilliard motion to me, and Jack begged tearfully for me to ignore him.  He was bawling and furious when I came inside after the bus left.  We had a long talk, and after a few minutes of crying alone in his bedroom, Jack was able to talk about it without clenching his teeth and flailing (which earlier caused him to knee himself in the head).  He said, "I made a mistake, and I forgot to apologize."  He just won't get over being separated from Robert, which happened at least a couple of weeks ago.  He doesn't seem to have had a bad day before that so I don't know what sent him over the edge today.  He wrote Mr. Hilliard a note -- purposefully leaving off the "Dear" before Mr. Hilliard's name, but signing it with a heart and "Jack."  His note says he won't do it ever again.  I haven't finished with him, of course.  Maybe I'll send an update.
