Language Arts -- Read poem with -an words; completed -an word sheet; reviewed real vs. fantasy
Calendar -- yesterday, today, tomorrow, "Yesterday, I...", weather, count by 10s and 5s, money value, "Follow the Leader" -- Jack sat in the help chair during game.  He got upset when it was going to be dancing but then the tape player wouldn't work.  He stayed in the help chair for a few minutes, then was fine.
Story Time -- to library to check out book; Story -- Clifford, We Love You
snack: peanut butter crackers
Math -- worked on graphing
Special Gym  -- [sad face] Hopping, side-sliding, jogging around the gym.  Statues game.  Frisbee "Stuck in the Mud," jump-roped, ball dribbling. 
Jack sat out during part of the "Stuck in the Mud" game -- he said it was hurting his ears, and he started crying.  Then he got upset during jumproping because he hit himself with the rope by mistake.  He cooled down and then he was fine.
Lunch -- ate hot dog, choc. milk, O.J. (didn't want hash browns)
Outside -- Great job! [smiley face]
Social Skills Activity -- Introduced to new student Robert.  Played "Cookie Jar" game so he could learn names.  Practiced walking in hallway in line quietly.
Speech -- [smiley face]  Jack worked on "wh" questions.  He also worked on turn-taking, eye contact, and maintaining topic!
Other -- Unit -- [smiley face]  Talked about each person being special.  Story: I am Special  Video on how we are all different.  Colored picture of self.
Teacher Comments -- Wednesday or Thursday would be better for you to come.  Tomorrow we have pictures so it will be a little hectic!
 
niknotes:  I asked Jack questions about what is reality/fantasy, and he really seems to have the concept.  Jack also volunteered that there was a new student named Robert joining his class.  That's progress.
