Classroom Activity -- Participation/Behavior

Language Arts --  Reread "One Gorilla": began making his "One ____" book
Handwriting --  morning sentences -- beautiful!
Social Skills --  [smiley] special activity -- goodbye to Dr. Warner -- afterwards "Chutes & Ladders" and "Hi-Ho Cherry-O"
Cooking -- cookies with frosting -- decorated face, eyes, hairs, etc.  Theme:  "I am special."
Special  P.E.  -- Jogged, galloped, side stepped, hopped around gym.  Played statues.  Skipping "Stuck in the Mud."  Jack is excellent at skipping (it's hard for this age!)  Jack got upset when he & Aaron bumped heads by mistake.  After they bumped head (it wasn't a "hard" bump) Jack's nose was running A LOT from crying & he sat out for the remainder of the class.  (I think he felt "yucky" from his cold and was using the bumped heads as an excuse -- which was fine.) [smiley]
Lunch --  [smiley] mixed veggies, pizza, apple, choc. milk
Outside -- [smiley] watched "Arthur" in Mrs. Robertson's class.  (raining)
Work Jobs -- 1 worksheet on choosing correct word for sentence, 1 math worksheet
Calendar --  "Hello song" - yesterday, today, tomorrow -- Days of week, months of year, count by 10s, weather
Other --  Show & Tell -- awesome Spiderman costume!, school store

Teacher Comments: We enjoyed having you yesterday!  Have a nice LONG weekend! [smiley}

niknotes:  The Spider-man costume is something Sean bought in Mexico.  It is cool, with a hood and a cape, and the Spanish words "Hombre Arana" (that n should have a tilde, but my e-mail won't let me put one, at least not with the same trick Word does).
