Cooking -- Made English muffin face pizza to show emotions 
Show & Tell -- Loved "Batman's Magical Christmas: House of Villains" and "Night Plane: a Honey Moon" (??? Hmmm! [smiley] )  We always look forward to his show&tells!
Community Skills --  Publix:  Jack did excellent at Publix.  He picked colored Sharpies so his books can be in color now! [smiley]  He stayed with his group nicely.  He paid for his items and said Thank You when he got his change.  He had to be reminded not to walk off without his purchase, though. (oops)
McDonald's:  Jack was wonderful at McDonald's.  He ordered on his own and said Thank You [smiley].  He ate all of his food, too.
Calendar --  Hello song, yesterday-today-tomorrow, patterns, date, days of week, weather, season, sight reading, telling time.  Played "Simon Says"
 
 
Teacher Comments:  Jack only missed 2 out of 25 spelling words.  We will do the other 25 words next week.  I'll let you know how he does on the other words. [smiley]
He has been eating snack at school.

niknotes: Guess who BOTH got happily on their buses this morning!!  I don't know if this did it for Jack, but the local news was on and he saw the highway map, with the connector splitting north into 75 and 85, and he said, "That looks like a tornado."  Plus the water going down the bath drain looked "like a tiny tornado."  For today's Show-n-Tell, he wanted to take his story "Batman and the Tornado," but he couldn't find that particular notebook out of his dozens, so he settled for his newest (a 5-subject notebook for 5 stories, I suggested) called "Batman's Magical Christmas: House of Villains" and another recent story "Night Plane: A Honey Moon," which I decided is too cute not to be shared.
