Teacher Comments -- Mick is eating one poptart each morning (sometimes a little more).  At lunch, he has been drinking his entire carton of chocolate milk (he picks chocolate over white).  And at snack he drinks apple juice or water.  He's a good drinker -- I don't think he needs the Ovaltine at school.  But let me know if you want me to give him some in his milk at lunch.

Thanks for the report on your family outing.  It does help w/ connecting w/ Mick & eliciting responses & language.

niknotes -- Sean, who took the afternoon off today, went with me to pick up Mick from school, and he got to meet Kris and Debbie.  Miss Kris told us that Mick has a great attention span and is very cooperative during activities.  Today in circle time, he chose the "4" flash card (Matthew is 3) in response to questions about his age, and he even said, "I am four."  Pronoun and everything.
He has no trouble with the morning transition to school, but so far all but one afternoon transfer from teacher to parent has involved a brief scream or some stomping, and then he goes to his car door and is fine.
When we came into the house, he headed straight upstairs saying, "Bed time!"  He didn't actually even lie down.  He was distracted by his ABC train puzzle but later dragged a comforter downstairs into the kitchen.  That's the closest we've gotten to his taking a nap today.  (Just as well, since there has been very little resistance to going to bed each night.)
I need to charge my camera batteries tonight so that tomorrow I can try to photograph Mick, leaving school wearing his backpack and eyeglasses, and then e-mail a picture with one of his reports.
