My emotions today -- happy
Teacher Comments -- Great show & tell!
niknotes -- I sent two items for show & tell. I
don't know if Mick showed & told about both or maybe just the duster.
I sent in a Lady and the Tramp happy meal toy so he could say "Yady, Twamp" for
everyone, but he had discovered the duster on his own, very fluffy and
multi-colored -- and he could say, "duster, blue, green, pink,
red."
Communication update from Molly Browning, preschool speech
teacher -- worked on eye contact, greetings/farewells, taking turns, and color
recognition; worked on answering yes/no questions, using extended sentences, and
requesting snack foods and "getting comfortable"
more niknotes -- I don't know what "getting comfortable"
in relation to speech means. Any guesses?
Also, Mick had another great bus day. And a
fund-raiser package came home in his backpack today. I'll send him out
into the neighborhood after dinner. Ha ha, just a joke. No
door-to-door! Anybody need peanut brittle or wrapping paper? (I
think I made up the peanut brittle, anyway.)
Now I have to distract Mick from wanting to swim in our
algae pool! He keeps pulling on the door saying, "Help, help!" And I
want to encourage his asking/demanding rather than screaming, but he'll have to
ask for something else.
