niknotes -- I sent Mick's lunch today, thinking the school menu didn't look too promising for Mick's tastes.  So he took a slice of pizza, grapes and a Reese's cup.  He didn't touch the grapes, apparently.

I went to Mick's school tonight for Curriculum Day and met Matthew's parents, whose names I've already forgotten.  Sharon, I think.  Big brother, Adam.  Can't remember Dad's.  Bad Nicole.  It was nice to hear how much Miss Kris and Miss Debbie love our boy and to hear how well he and Matthew play together, including sharing with "your turn" from both of them.  They told me that he takes his backpack straight to his cubby hole when he arrives in the classroom and that he follows his picture schedule, sometimes needing to be reminded to check it but happily complying.  Most impressive to me was his sorting work which he does independently each day.  Precious.
