Theme Unit -- Camping, Bears, and Other Forest Animals

Story -- Going on a Bear Hunt, Retold by Michael Rosen, Illustrated by Helen Oxenbury

Music -- Brown Bear ... What do You See?

Special Activity -- pretend play in our new camping center

Group Game -- color match board game

Center Time -- I played with: doll house, rice table

(ate none of hot dog or bun)

My emotions today -- happy, but cried and was a little fussy several times today

Teacher Comments -- A Kindergartner came to play the group game with us today, and Mick did a great job saying "hi" & including her in the game.

niknotes -- If I know Mick, he grabbed the girl's face and said "Hi" lots of times. Just ask Amelia. She was very patient with him, with the demand for eye contact. He hugged Amelia a few times too, saying, "Sweet boy." She informed him that she's a girl, but I explained that he would like her to call him a sweet boy, so she did. We saw Amelia and Cameron yesterday at McDonald's Playland before lunch, and of course before they flew back to Germany. All four played very well together, the days here and again yesterday. Makes a mother proud, or two mothers proud even!
