My emotions today -- happy, sad, cried

Teacher Comments -- He got very upset today b/c 2 train cars were given to Matthew & 2 to him --instead of keeping all 4 connected.  It took him a long time to calm down -- much longer than usual.  He participated in the subsequent activities but cried all throughout them.  He may just have been having a bad day -- it happens to all of us.  He was in a much better mood the last half of the day.

niknotes -- I think he must have had chicken nuggets and a roll for lunch, as that was one of today's options.
He arrived home in a wonderful mood, very cuddly, and shouted, "Goodbye, School Bus!  Goodbye, Sissuh Don!"  He also greeted Jack at the bus when he got home and told Mr. Don goodbye again with just as much enthusiasm, and then he checked the mailbox and asked for help when the corners of the mail got stuck.  Nicely done.
As soon as Jack got home, we went to the eyeglasses shop to have Mick's lenses put in the new frames, and they were both so well-behaved!  Mick went straight to the corner where they have a rug with streets and buildings, kind of like a map, but almost immediately he ran up to me and asked to go to the restroom.  Jack added that he had to go too, and by the time we returned, the glasses were ready.  We drove through KFC before getting back on Highway 78 and shared a two-piece snack:  biscuit for Mick, which he asked for by name, drumstick for Jack, and thigh for me -- only three dollars. Next we stopped by SuperTarget, where I bought some Halloween items for their classes and a little train station that Mick picked out.  Perfect behavior from both of my cuties.  Then on the way home -- and WHY wouldn't Miss Kris warn me so I wouldn't sob and drive off the road -- he put both index fingers on his chin and said "I" and then crossed his arms over his chest "Nuv" and pointed at me "You!"  At least I can't drive off the keyboard because here I go again.
