niknotes -- Mama came up and joined me at Mick's cookout, which was actually a cook-IN because of the rain. We got to eat lunch with Mick and Matthew, Matthew's mom Sharon, Miss Kris, Miss Debbie, and Miss Molly. We were also joined by Ian, and later Shauna, who seem to belong to "Miss Mary's class." Mick was confused by our arrival and whined a lot after his attempt to get his backpack and go home with us (before we even ate) were thwarted by Miss Debbie. There was no picture of a cookout with visitors on his picture schedule. After he ate a ton of potato chips and not a single bite of hot dog or bun, still whining, he somewhat participated in circle time (Miss Kris even has a story hat). And then with his jacket and backpack already on, he played the Winnie the Pooh memory game with Shauna and Ian, as Matthew's mom had already left with Matthew. After the game, Mick left with us, but then we passed the buses parked out front and he got confused again, even went up and sat on Mr. Don's bus for a minute before he agreed to come out to the green car. But he was okay once he was home and snuggled up in a comforter fast asleep.
