Teacher Comments --  Mick has been so verbal this week & has done some nice initiating w/ peers & teachers.
Have a Great Weekend!

niknotes -- Mick was coughing this morning before the bus came, and I think he must not be feeling great, which would probably account for the behavior Miss Kris mentioned.  He's not coughing now, except a fake, little cough which he does to elicit my saying, "Stuart, are you all right?"  So he can answer, "I'll be okay, Mom."  I think that's the only part of Stuart Little he quotes -- the part after Stuart is rescued from the washing machine.
He has been so wonderful about wearing his glasses.  I've just been meaning to mention that.  And he still has such enthusiasm for going to school, running up the driveway to board the bus (and always says "Good Morning!" to Mr. Gene), and loves waving at us from his seat (three rows back on the driver's side) until Mr. Gene turns out the interior light.  I'm glad that Miss Debbie told me his enthusiasm for riding the bus HOME is just as great.  When he gets to the "time to go home" picture on his school schedule, he reportedly scampers to the cubby-holes/coat-racks to grab his backpack and head for the door.

By the way, Mick's Bear Book is cute.  He has colored in it, and he has actually seemed to concentrate the color on or near certain objects, like green grass.  Previously, his technique was free-form scribbling all over, often with lovely results, I thought.

That reminds me.  I want to send a photo attachment of Mick's watercolor painting.  I think it's gorgeous and plan to have it matted and framed.
