Mick stayed at home today. It's probably just the
spectacularly high pollen count, but he has had a dry, hacking cough for a
couple of days, and he felt awful this morning, throwing such a fit of protest
over "going to see Mr. Gene," which is completely unlike him, as you all
know. (He usually drags me out of the house to catch his bus.) This
morning, he didn't want juice or "coffee" or Pop-tarts or Mr. Gene or
anything. Very sad. He rested a lot and read some books. I
think he feels better now.
