niknotes -- I had a box of pop tarts (actually Kroger
brand Toaster Treats) in Mick's backpack as soon as I read the request Thursday,
but Mick took them out and ate some, and I never replaced them. So I don't
know if he ate something else for breakfast at school -- hopefully cereal, or if
he wasn't completely out of pop tarts yet. There's a new box in the
backpack now, and I'll have to make sure Mick doesn't take this one out.
He is practicing his cuttin' at the table. I have a shoe
box full of paper (never a shortage of junk mail for cuttin'!) which he's
allowed to cut. He is great about putting his scissors back, too. Oh
no, he just said, "Want to go see Granny!" That makes probably ten days in
a row that he has made that request/demand. We went yesterday, though, so
he's just going to have to hold out. I'm glad he loves going to see
Granny, but we can't go every day!
