My emotions today -- happy, cried (very fussy in spurts throughout the day)

niknotes -- Sweet Mick is still not feeling his best. He's sniffly. But I have to say he handled the crowd in our house when he got home very well. Anna (Stott) Brown was here with three-year-old Harrison and two-year-old Emma, and Cindy was here with 4-1/2-month-old Jessica! He played WITH Harrison, rather than just near Harrison. But he stayed inside when the rest of us, including Da home from work, played in the front yard.

Here's a wonderful Da for you: Sean arranged last night with three of our neighbors to have a practice run for Mick, who hadn't as of last year really grasped the concept of trick-or-treating. Sean provided the candy yesterday and then today, when everyone else had gone home, Sean enlisted Jack's help for the three or four practice trick-or-treats at our own door. Jack was a trick-or-treater with Mick the first time, and then he wanted to answer the door and hand out the candy. So once Mick could do it here, Sean took him to the three other doors. I should get Sean to write the details of the rest of the trick-or-treating. I will just say that it was a huge success and that I think Jack and Mick have the best Da ever.
