Teacher Comments -- [note from e-mail Mrs. Bracy sent me]
Mick started off the day ok, but got very fussy throughout the latter half of the day.  He seemed to get very frustrated, but would not respond to my prompting to ask for help or tell me "no thanks."  Sometimes I wonder if his eyes really bother him when he does not have his glasses, and if that could be contributing to his being fussy. Hard to tell though.

niknotes -- Mick was okay after school but fell asleep right after his bath, which I had given him early to move up bedtime for everybody; he fell asleep wrapped up in his towel on the floor outside the bathroom.  That was actually before seven o'clock.  Jack wasn't quite so easy, but he went to bed early, too.  They had both seemed tired.
Also, I keep forgetting to mention something Mick did last night, no, Sunday night.  Brainblur.  I was involved in some activity with Jack, for a little too long apparently, when Mick came up and grabbed my hand, holding his Little Train book in the other, dragged me to the couch, while saying, "Mick's turn!"  Naturally, I read his book to him, and possibly even more amazing than that expression of his wants was that he then allowed me to read every, single page without becoming impatient to turn the pages!  It has always been difficult, if not impossible, to read to Mick because he just wanted to flip the pages as fast as possible.  On his own, he could stare at a particular page forever, or pull it past his eyes ("the peripheral game"), but he was not one to have a story read to him, except on rare occasions, or as he was falling asleep perhaps.  Anyway, YEA!
One more quick note:  Friday night, I think it was, Mick found a butterfly appliqué that I had just bought (for a journal cover), and he picked it up, flapped its wings and said, "Beautiful butterfly."
