Daily Report Sheet
Name: SSG Sean
Dullaghan Date:
04/10/03 Thursday
- no news from Sean
- call from chaplain's wife
- address reminder (slight change)
I have not received any news from Sean, but I don't think
he was going to be in touch for a few days. However, I did receive a call
yesterday from the chaplain's wife, the chaplain for the Battalion, and she
wanted to forward the tidbits from Command. The only news was that the
guys "hit the ground running" and that "morale is high." She also spoke
highly of the First Sergeant who was the other PsyOps guy to go with
Sean. Remember the group of 16 who were together at Bragg were split into
three smaller groups, Sean's having only two men going to the same location or
to work with the same unit, apparently the Aussie SAS, if only temporarily ...
and maybe even not by now. But it was nice to hear that Sergeant Becker is
held in high regard, just to know someone capable is there to watch Sean's back,
since Rich is elsewhere, right? Lastly, I just thought I'd mention that
Mrs. Oliver gave me the APO address which Sean had given, but she indicated that
her instructions for the first line were "Last name, first name, ALL
CAPS." So I wouldn't worry about the mail you may have already addressed,
but we might want to switch to:
DULLAGHAN SEAN
BOX 5-C
APO AE 09367
It probably just helps the mailroom guy sort mail if it's
all in exactly the same format. I'm sure nothing of ours will be
mis-delivered due to the order of Sean's name.
