Hi, I haven't heard from Sean since Tuesday, the e-mail from which day I have forwarded (excerpts at least) to all of you.  However, I completely forgot to mention that I also got a phone call from Sean on my cell phone, while I was at Wal-Mart -- looking for the particular Easter items that Sean requested.  No luck, by the way.  The only candy left were malted milk balls, which Sean might prefer to a spoonful of sand, but then again ....  So I thought I would mention it to everyone.  He sounded in great spirits again.  He is looking forward to receiving the mail and packages that are on their way to him.  He did receive an e-mail from the troops at the first address, the one we had for about five days or so, SOCCE -- which may stand for something like Special Operations Command - CEntral.  The e-mail said that they had received mail for him there and would forward it with the next supplies run, but apparently that still hasn't happened.  So Sean is doing his best to be patient.  I think SOCCE may have been in a different country from where he is now.  But it seems to me that that e-mail was received about five days ago, so if the mail travels at the same rate, surely mail should start arriving at Box 5-C any moment!
Last note, I think I may have given the impression that we should keep the e-mail to a minimum b/c of his limited time on the computer, but Sean is actually able to print out his e-mail.  My concern is only in sending things with attachments which may take too long to download.  But please do not hesitate to write as much or as often as you wish.  Text is quickly received and printed for later (and even repeated) enjoyment, and Sean really looks forward to hearing any news from home and family and friends.  Feel free to update him on events in the news that spark your own interest.  He's probably suffering  withdrawal from no longer having news to watch 24 hours a day -- not that he watched 24 hours a day, but it was available, right?  Now he's lucky to hear anything beyond his own small slice of the campaign.  I've done my best to relay news I hear, but I don't watch as much as I'm sure he'd like to hear.  He may not even know about SARS or the latest Cards to be captured, for example.  Okay, you've got the idea.  Thank you for keeping Sean in your thoughts and prayers and mailboxes!!    e-mail:  sean.dullaghan@us.army.mil
Sincerely,
Nikki
